What the 5% covers
Payment processing is charged separately by the payment provider at their own rates — we do not mark it up. The 5% is our fee for the platform: hosting, recording storage, delivery, and the rails underneath.
When it is charged
On the pre-tax amount, at the moment a payment settles. Never on tax you collect on behalf of an authority — that money is not ours to take a cut of.
If we change it
Your rate is fixed to your account on the day you sign up. A future pricing change applies to future accounts, not to yours.
The honest maths
Where a flat monthly fee wins
Percentage pricing is better below roughly €540 a month and worse above it. You would work that out yourself, so here it is.

Comparison uses a $29/mo storefront plan at roughly €27. If you are consistently above €540 a month and only need a storefront, a flat plan is cheaper and we would rather you knew. If you are running cohorts, those plans do not do the job at any price — see the full comparison.
Questions people actually ask
Is there a free tier or a trial?
The free tier is the product. There is no trial because there is nothing to expire — you only pay when you take money.
What if I run a free cohort?
Then you pay nothing. Recordings, portal, notes and community all work on unpaid programmes.
Can I leave and take everything?
Yes, in one click, from day one. Members, recordings, notes and revenue history as files you keep. Lock-in is not a business model.
Who is the merchant of record?
You are. Funds settle to your own connected payment account. We take the platform fee and never hold your revenue.
How does tax work?
Tax is calculated for your region — VAT, GST or sales tax — and shown on the invoice. We do not file returns for you.
Do you support Indian payments?
Yes. Domestic rupee collection with split settlement, chosen automatically from where your business is registered.
